Bright and intense colour, dark mahogany bowl with orange rim, nose very mature and gently maderized, still some black fruits, prunes leather and dried figs, touch of balsamic brunello VA on nose, firm acidity, still tasting young despite age. A very good well kept bottle, nice wine.

Deep straw colour, nose mature and full, creamy and lactic, ripe cheddar complex smoky and damp hay or cloth, palate round and full with that amazing Ramonet streak of pure minerality down the centre of palate, very long flavours of cinder toffee and creamy fudge keep resonating back.

Dark colour, great lustre, nose big and tight, spicy new wood, quite open, dark fruits, minerally and coffee/chocolate, dark shoe leather polish, clean crisp and well balanced palate, young; although approachable now, fine elegant and long. Very good.

Golden yellow, very bright colour, nose opens and evolves from petroluem and floral to lime leaf kaffir notes, little lemongrass – with air develops into a rich honeyed camomile white flower with nuts, still very crisp and mineral palate, fresh and long.

Smoky deep complex wine, nose of blackcurrants and blackfruits, coffee and chocolate, black shoe leather, wonderful rich fruitcake nose with creamy vanilla wood, cedar freshness, finesse on palate.

Nose little wet dog and bretty not very pleasant, horsehair, with air and 2 hours in decanter develops into aged mushroom and truffle character with black fruits and some spice, palate delicate with dried fruit plum and bramble confit, slightly mushy strawberry, delicate. Needs decanting and patience.

Deep purple bowl fading slightly to rim, still youthful, nose medium open, a very elegant Pomerol, fine balance of mature fruit and earthy flavours and some game meats, fine black polished leather and cedar with spice, complex gentle herbal aromas, touch of pineforest?. fresh and elegant palate, silky fine grained tannins, smooth palate with a well balanced acidity, complex round and very long.
