Domaine Ramonet 2002
Pale gold straw, nose open floral and nutty, Ramonet minerals and wet rock aromas. Creamy and round, little lactic and slightly smokey on the nose. Palate dry crisp and light mineral acidity, creamy soft cheesy fruit, wet stones and acidity, citrus and white lemon pith, med to long length, good.

Deep straw colour, nose mature and full, creamy and lactic, ripe cheddar complex smoky and damp hay or cloth, palate round and full with that amazing Ramonet streak of pure minerality down the centre of palate, very long flavours of cinder toffee and creamy fudge keep resonating back.
Nose open rich ripe and powerful, candided and roasted orange peel, baked clementines, honey, grilled nuts, saffron and lemon acidity, very complex aromas, round full and fat on the palate, nice acidity, orange honey and saffron on palate, very long and complex finish.
Deep dark colour, slightly fading rim, powerful dense deep nose, classic cedar and cassis, little ironstone and earthy maturity. Palate big and solid, slightly hard fruit and tannin, very young still not forgiving, not sure if hard tannins will soften before fruits drops, hard metallic aftertaste. Needs time.
Nose intense, wet rock, lime pith, nervosity, smoky citrus and salted lemon character, palate big crisp, clean and long, limey citus flavour with intense mineral tang, slight smoke and wet rock. Amazing balance and length. A very distinctive Coche style.
