Very open nose fresh rich, mango and touches of passion fruit, aromas of thai basil and coconut (?) some menthol, quite complex but a light Yquem, palate balanced and long, soft ripe aprcots and peach with a saffron hint.

Nose open soft, great ripe fruit spicy and rich, oak shows through vanilla and cedar with a rich fruit cake character of mixed black fruits, toasty charred wood, lovely fresh acidity, firm but elegant tannins and long length.
Smoky earthy and chocolate on nose, big palate earthy full flavours cedar wood forest floor, blackcurrants and dark fruits, very well polished and elegant, still youthful
Nose clean crisp polished, blackcurrant and cedar wood, little spice, elegant sandalwood polished black leather, very well balanced palate with young elegant tannins, med – long. Will last for many years.
Pale red garbet, brick rim, nose little closed and light, earthy and vegetal forest floor with rowan cranberry aromas, not too complex, fruity round and rich on palate bright cherry acidity, easy drinking medium to long length. Pleasant.
Slightly deeper colour than Coche Meursault 05, pale straw gold, nose soft gentle already open, hints of nuts and cream, toasted brioche style, very elegant ripe and full with a rich palate, mineral hints, great elegance, very well balanced witha slight peach and tropical finish, v long.
Nose classic youthful syrah, cracked blackpepper and tar, elegant big and spicey just taking on gamey meaty, truffle and leather characters now, still very young.
Ronan is a very valuable member of the Master Sommelier Organisation.
His knowledge and passion for wine is frequently passed on to candidates at all levels of our education programmes.
He is an accomplished lecturer, and has a way of putting his subject matter over to candidates in a manner which promotes the learning process. Candidates respond positively to his approach and up to date knowledge of the subject.
Ronan's skills also extend to his practical work in the restaurant where he demonstrates benchmark standards.
His ability to taste and analyse wine has been proved with his success in gaining the Master Sommelier Award.
