Bistro Hotel Du Vin – Coming Soon!

Posted By Ronan on February 8, 2011 in Blog |

I am very excited to announce the first ever Bistro du Vin in London. This will be the first of many that we hope to create in local neighbourhoods around London. Our first will be close to Farringdon Tube station and Smithfield Market in the site of the old East Side Inn. There is a fantastic space here with a big open plan kitchen and separate cocktail bar area.

We are looking to make a 104 cover bistro open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of wine by the glass, great cocktails, some tapas like bar dining and an afternoon tea menu.

I am also very happy that our head sommelier from Edinburgh Romain Audrerie will be in charge of the wines assisted by Danielle Meenagh, our scholarship winner from Michel Roux’s Service.

Ronan's Testimonials...

“

Ronan is a very valuable member of the Master Sommelier Organisation. His knowledge and passion for wine is frequently passed on to candidates at all levels of our education programmes. He is an accomplished lecturer, and has a way of putting his subject matter over to candidates in a manner which promotes the learning process. Candidates respond positively to his approach and up to date knowledge of the subject. Ronan's skills also extend to his practical work in the restaurant where he demonstrates benchmark standards. His ability to taste and analyse wine has been proved with his success in gaining the Master Sommelier Award.
