Dry River 2004

Posted By Ronan on June 12, 2009 in  | 0 Comments

Country: New Zealand
Vintage: 2004
Colour: Red
Site: Amaranth Syrah
Producer: Dry River
Date Tasted: 12-06-09
Score: 88

Nose closed and tight, needs some air, cracked black pepper quite subtle, fig and prune aromas, quite shy wine, soft fruits on palate. Not a blockbuster, very Rhone like, lots of fruitcake, does lack some length.
